Textbook: Real Analysis, 3rd Ed., by H.L. Royden. Chapters 7-8,10-13,16.
Prerequisites: Math 7350.

Notes for 7351: Metric spaces and Banach spaces (190K pdf file).
General measure theory (not complete) (160K pdf file).
Material: Metric and Topological spaces, Baire category theorem, Hahn Banach theorem, uniform boundedness principle, closed graph theorem, general measure, signed measures, Radon-Nikodym theorem, product measures, Fubini theorem.
Grades: Based on homework assignments (~55%), two take-home exams (~15%), and comprehensive, in class, final (~30%).
Plus/Minus grades: I will use these.
Final Exam: May 2, Monday, 10:30am.
